The Turgut Reis Konak is housed in a historical building in the UNESCO-listed centre of Old Safranbolu. It features unobstructed town views, wood-carved ornaments and a restaurant. All rooms feature varnished wooden panelling and ceilings that contrast with the whitewashed walls. Each room has free Wi-Fi, a TV and the private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Turgut Reis Hotel is 1.5 km from Safranbolu’s modern part of the city. The Black Sea town of Amasra is 90 minutes’ drive away. A daily breakfast is served every morning in the hotel’s dining room. Food at Turgut’s restaurant includes traditional dishes from the Black Sea region.
